September's here!   The winds start to turn and the Tuna bite picks up and the Bass and Bluefish start getting ready for there move south. We've been hitting the Tuna pretty good, alot of fish in 38" to 50" and a bigger fish now and then, but it's only going to get better! The Bass have been a little finiky, but with a little persistance we've been able to maintain verticle jigging for a few. Wire line, as much as we don't want to use it works very well this time of yr. The early morning and nite bite should start to be excellent, as the fish start feeding more with the waters cooling. Stop in and see the crew at either Blackbeards Tackle or Goose Hummock, for that Christmas gift you've been thinking about getting your avid fisherman in your family, or friend. Fishing should be good right through Oct., so give a call and book a trip to get that Fish of your dreams! Until next time, Keep a tight line

WOW!!!    It's August already!  July flew by like it was'nt there! The fishing in July was awesome, both for our charter cliental as well as the Commercial Bass fishery. The Fish pretty much set up off of Chatham again this yr. and the tail end of the Commercial season is upon us, with some really healthy fish being taken. Us Charter Capts. look forward to the end of this season, for the preasure is taken off these fish and the Charter guy's can enjoy some real Sport fishing this time of yr. The Tuna Trips start and as Sept. rolls in, the T-bite really turns on!! We still have a long season of some really awesome Bass fishing left, so give us a call and get in on some of the best Striped Bass fishing in the world, right here on Cape Cod!  TUNA As  well! Until next time, keep a tight line!

July 2012

June has come and gone and the fishing has continued to be very good! Had some slow days, but we got them. July has started out with spotty groups of big fish up to 40 lbs. Most ranging from 18 to 30 lbs. On the 5th we had a trip that was awesome with nothing but big fish, releasing fish up to 40 lbs. on light tackle, gotta love it!!!!! Commercial season starts next week and the boat traffic is going to put even more preasure on the fish as well as the weather(heat), but i don't see any issues in getting fish, The fish seem to be schooling up in several different areas, so we can move around. Verticle Jigging with metals and Ronz have been the most productive, Ronz when you can find a slot with no Dog fish. Until next report, keep a tight line!!

Well June has shown to be an awesome month of big schools of Striped Bass, Macherel, Squid and tons of Sand Eels, so with the Bait in place and if  the water temps. hold, we'll have an awesome month of Fishing in July!! June has given us some of the best top water Blitz's I've seen in awhile!!  Nothing more awesome than having fish bouncing off the boat and out of the water like you've never seen before, what an experience!!! Vertical Jigging with Metals and Ronz soft baits are the best, along with Pencil Poppers on top to enjoy some of the best fishing you ever ask for!! Remember, nothing beats a tight line!!!!

Welcome, the 2012 season is under way! We,ve been Black Sea bassing with some really nice sized Bass being caught!  Scup are mixed in with them as well! The weather's been with us this Spring and keeping tight lines has been no problem. Our new 25' Sea Craft  is running awesome and really looking forward to this yr.! The Mercury 150 Verado's on the stern really move us quickly to our fishing spots,  and we'll capitalize on that this yr. with a lot more comfort. The stripers are moving in more and more every day, so let's Fish! We had an awesome trip the other day with Mackerel being caught as well! Until next time, keep a tight line!!
